On Monday Nov 7^th Game Stop in La Grande Oregon will collaborate with neighbors Primos Pizza to host the midnight release of Call of Duty Modern Warefare 3.  The event will provide for community gamers an opportunity to see the US Military Hummer, play pre released games and listen to three top performing bands.

The epic event will keep Game Stop employees busy with a pre-sale of over 100 games at the La Grande location.  While employees anxiously await the l12:01 a.m. Tuesday morning bombardment, gamers will have fun and warm options at Primos Pizza beginning at 7:00 p.m. with the show starting at 7:30 Monday November 7^th.   There is a door fee of $3.00 to support night’s entertainment.

The lineup includes funk rock original band Bukkit from Boise, original local Sons of Guns come out and Stealing Solace will end the countdown.

Bukkit performs regularity in the Boise scene and has toured the Pacific Northwest in 2010 and 2011.  Bukkit has radio time at several locations including The Pulse Boise, Chectk It Out Spokane WA and a 2011 interview at KEOL La Grande.  They are in the final stages of their second album and will perform some new songs.

Local and touring original band Sons of Guns will also been in the line up.  This band most recently released their second CD with huge support from their local community.   Local fans flock whenever Sons of Guns performs and the band is flawless a entertaining their audience with detailed sounds.

The Monday night tops off with Stealing Solace from La Grande.  Lead singer Robert writes, “We weren’t sure what to expect bringing hard rock and metal to the local music scene.  Our goal is to provide something more current and energetic for music fans in Eastern Oregon.  We not your typical country or classic rock band and we have been well received by those looking for alternative to the norm. People really dig what we are doing!”

Primos Pizza will provide additional support by offering pizza and salad for $4.99 beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Game Stop Manager Travis is available at the La Grande Game Stop to answer any questions that you might have about the new release and the event.   As of yet, Call if Duty Modern Warfare 3 is still available for preorder at the La Grande Game Stop.

Juniper Jam

The sweetest little music festival in Eastern Oregon goes down Saturday of Labor Day Weekend, Septemeber 3rd!!!

The performance list is still getting rounded out but already includes a string of wicked string bands and regional folk, blues, americana, and rock ‘n’ roll favorites like Corn Mash, Kevin Jones Band, Fruition String Band, James Dean Kindle and the Eastern Oregon Playboys, Buffalo Death Beam, Jonathan Warren and the Billy Goats, Simon Tucker, Carolyn Lochert & Janis Carper and Chase Nebel…. the music begins at 11am and continues well into the night. Oh yes, and Sons of Guns will command the stage from 4:00-4:45.

Juniper Jam will also present a stunning visual art display featuring many of our local artists working with glass, pottery, bronze and more. So far, Moonshine Glass, Wind Dancer Flutes, Alazar Guitar Works, Norman Arts, Rodd Ambroson are on the bill– stay tuned for updates!

Welcome to the 3rd Annual Juniper Jam in Enterprise, Oregon!!

Gregory Rawlins, Elidila at Ten Depot St.

Prepare for a flurry of songs old and new by Rawlins, as he is accompanied by the vocal warmth and comeraderie of Tara Minogue, mistress of desire, ambassador of soul. Expect a seamless two hours of tunes as Rawlins is backed by Elidila (comprised of Wayne Callahan and Jeff Grammer) at the homestretch of his set, pefrorming two ditties fresh out of the bunker, entitled “Inciting Politeness” and “Bitspeck”, as well as a few Sons of Guns tracks from the forthcoming album.
At that point, the stage will be turned over to Elidila completely. The duo, described as experimental rock, mathweed, thunder-quilting, and even the ‘Truth’ will showcase the acclaimed set that has recently earned them invitations to Boise and San Francisco to play alongside Finn Riggins and Tartufi, a few of the region’s finest bands.
If your hankering calls for cover songs, this is the wrong line-up for you, bub. Otherwise, make your merry way to Ten Depot for a night of razzle frazzle, puddin’ and pie. No dancin’ shoes, no dancin’ shirt, no dancin’ service.

Free Beer for those of age!! **CAMPING ON SITE**. and SKADS AND SKADS of amazing music in the barn and by the campfire. brace yourselves for epicness.

As a reminder, this is more party than festival, and we’d like to see this event continue to happen on this beautiful property that the Bouiss family is so generous to provide… with that said, this is setup as a private event and only those invited can see it. please feel free to invite anyone you’d like, just remember the one very important Ranch Fest rule: NO ASSHOLES
